Famous Scallop and Herb-Roasted Chicken Dinners
The focus of the festival is, of course, our great Scallop or Herb-roasted Chicken dinners, prepared by J & J Concessions, Roger & Hope Pinard of Lakeville, Massachusetts. You can enjoy your meal and listen to entertainment in the Big Tent or take your meal outside……..and enjoy the view of the Cape Cod Canal and the famous Railroad Bridge.
During the 2007 Scallop Fest, over three tons of succulent Scallops were deep fried and served to over 50,000 visitors. Our delicious Chicken dinners are herb-roasted and both meals are served with French Fries, Cole Slaw, Roll & Butter plus your choice of soda from our sponsor, Coca-Cola.
Food Court
In addition to Scallops & Chicken , you can choose from Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sausages, Chicken Tenders and Fries, all prepared by volunteers at the Chamber Food Booth. You can also delight in Scallop Chowder and Lobster Rolls provided by The Nimrod Restaurant of Falmouth. Jim & Gwyn Murray, owners of The Nimrod Restaurant, volunteer their time and expertise to manage the Grill for the Chamber. Our presenting sponsors, Harpoon Brewery and Coastal Wine Trail are here to supply locally produced beer & wine; for dessert you can delight in Strawberry Shortcake or Ice Cream. If you are interested in snacking your way around the Fesitval, stop by and pick up some fresh Roasted Nuts, Fried Dough, KettleCorn and thirst quenching Lemonade or Strawberry Smoothies.
Professional Arts & Crafts Fair and Home Show
L & R Productions, with more than 30 years experience, are the producers of New England's largest and best attended arts and crafts festivals,. If you are an artist or craftsman selling hand-made American goods, then they are the gateway to thousands of customers from across New England and the United States. And Speaking of Kids…
Whether the kids are 8 or 80, lots of fun can be found at the Bourne Scallop Fest…..Tall Tex Greeters make appearances several times on all 3 days….the Toe Jam Puppet Band perform twice on Saturday and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit conduct a terrific demostration on Sunday…..The kids can feast on Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Ice Cream and don’t forget Admission into the Scallop Fest is FREE for those 12 and under!
Entertainment
The Bourne Scallop Festival has music for every taste! Our aim is to provide you the best non-stop family entertainment, on the Main Stage, in the Gazebo or on the Festival Grounds!
The 2008 headliners are Martha’s Vineyards’ own ENTRAIN on Saturday night. From Boston and the South Shore, the fabulous 10-piece band Soul City will perform Friday night. For the current Entertainment Schedule – click here.
Tickets are not necessary to enjoy our great line-up, all performances can be enjoyed as part of the General Admission price of $5 per person, and Children 12 and Under, Enter FREE!

300 tickets @ $100 each…that’s all you have to pay to get a chance to win a 2008 FXBB DYNA® STREET BOB® - Harley-Davidson (MSRP $13,795). Cape Cod Harley-Davidson, 750 MacArthur Boulevard, Pocasset, is donating the bike to the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce for the Bourne Scallop Festival. It will be a grand affair on Sunday, September 21st, at 2:30pm when the Scallop Fest Raffle is held on the main stage under the Food and Entertainment Tent.
