Making final plans for its 39th Annual Bourne Scallop Fest, the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to assist the 50,000+ people expected to attend the Fest. We need servers, bus greeters, hospitality hosts and runners to work in 4-hour shifts in the mornings, early afternoons, late afternoon-evenings.

“We now need up to 500 volunteers to make the Scallop Fest work, ” said Marie Oliva, President and CEO. “The only requirement is having community spirit.”

Oliva said that the Scallop Fest is looking for first-time volunteers to supplement the individuals and company teams that return year after year. “Working at the Scallop Fest is a great team-building experience; that’s why so many companies recruit their workers to help.”
